This weekend was quite busy for us. My mom came into town on Thursday and we spent Friday cleaning and then shopping. Saturday morning, Robin and I got up at 4:30 to get ready and get to Disney for the Muddy Buddy. We had a great time doing the race - we were a bit slow thanks to me, but it was still so much fun. After the race, we rushed back to the house to get ready for Blake's graduation at UCF. It was a bit long for Olivia, but she did get to see her Uncle Blake walk across the stage and get his diploma. I know that will be very special for her one day. :) After the graduation, we had a party at our house for Blake with all of our family as well as Dani's family. It was a great
Sunday morning we got up early to get ready for church. We had to be there early because Olivia was being dedicated. Our church doesn't do traditional christenings, just a parent commitment to raise children in a Christian home. However, Olivia's great aunt made her a BEAUTIFUL
christening gown that will start with Olivia and be passed on to future girls in the family. All of the babies were great on stage. It was at the very beginning of the service, but we were able to stay in church for the whole service. After the service, we had another party at the house to celebrate Olivia. It was very nice with both of our families, some neighbors, and friends.
Needless to say, we are all exhausted today, but it was worth it!
looks like you guys had a blast! what is buddy muddy? or muddy buddy?
ReplyDeleteIt's a bike/run race with obstacles along the way. At the very end there's about 30 yards of mud that you have to army crawl through. It was so much fun! They have 13 different cities around the country that host a race.
